The
National Coalition for Cancer Survivorship (NCCS)
Since 1986 The National Coalition
for Cancer Survivorship (NCCS) has attempted to generate a nationwide
awareness of cancer survivorship. They do this through publications, education
to eliminate the stigma of cancer, advocacy for insurance and employment
rights, and by networking and promoting the many organizations and institutions
that strive to inform, serve, and empower people with cancer. Included
in their offerings is a "Cancer Survival Toolbox," an audio

Association
of Oncological Social Workers
The Association of Oncological Social Workers
is a two-fold organization of practicing OSW devoted to awareness issues
(social, emotional, educational, and spiritual ) as well as advocacy (education
through conferences and publications, promotion of clinical research,

The
National Womens Health Information Center
The National Women's Health Information
Center provides links to women's health news, U.S. legislation, information,
advocacy, government organizations, Congress, upcoming events and related
organizations. They host a handy calendar of events, complete with addresses
and contact names and numbers. For example, the Society of Gynecologist
